There are many ways to get your ballot counted. The easiest is putting your ballot in the mail. If you want to make sure your ballot gets counted, drop it off a a drop box.

1

To register you need your driver's license or ID. Go to this link and follow the directions to register.

2

Fill out Ballot

Make sure you thoroughly read your voters pamphlet to understand where each candidate is coming from. Check out VoteSmart or FactCheck and Ballot Ready, which is this link.

Sophomores & juniors

Even though you can not vote if you are not 18, you can still pre register to vote. This is really important because when you are already registered, you will automatically receive your ballot in the mail for your first election. You will need a driver's license or permit ID to register. If you don't have a driver's license you can use the last four digits of your social security number. It is the same site for 18 year olds to register, but at the end you will be registered as a future voter.
